Grouping users by Role
When grouping the User Data by Roles, you are arranging the users into categories based on their roles in the company or organization. Selecting a role displays all users under that specification.
There are three roles that correspond to the available Cloudica™ accounts.
OwnerThis is the primary account, and is usually used by the company owner or organization head. This role cannot be assigned.
Manager This role is assigned to users who have managerial or supervisory positions in the company. A manager’s Cloudica™ account has access to captured data of all users under his/her team or division.
Remote User This role is assigned to all other company personnel that do not have managerial responsibilities. Users who are assigned this role can only access and view their own monitored data.
To start filtering the User Data by Role, do the following:
On the left panel, click the “Group data” button.
Click the “Role” button if it is not enabled.
Click “Manager” or “Remote User” to navigate to each section easily.
This will group the User Data boxes into two sections, the Manager and the Remote User. Click the roles to automatically scroll to the group you want to see.
