How to Use Streams Streams let you view the users’ activities in a video format. This is ideal if you intend to review or observe your team’s captured data for daily performance assessments. The Streams can be accessed above the My Timeline of the Live Feed module. It has pink buttons to view the ongoing and ended streams. The buttons also display a counter to tell how many streams there are. There are two types of Streams:
  • Ongoing streams are live feeds from currently logged-in users in the desktop app. These are real-time data from users. The “streams on going” button only appears in the dashboard when there are online users.  
  • Ended streams are feeds from the users who already logged out from the app. The feeds here are not in real-time and the “streams ended” button only appears when there are users who logged out or got disconnected.
To open the Ongoing or Ended stream,
  • Click the “streams on going” button to view the Ongoing streams.
  • Click the “streams ended” button to view the Ended streams.
Ongoing Stream The Ongoing Stream is the real-time view of the users’ feeds in a video player format. Parts of the Ongoing Stream
  • PlayerShows the Application Screenshots and the Snapshots of the user/s.
  • Live Feed PanelDisplays the Applications and Websites, Keystrokes, User Status, Productivity Tagging, Work Time logs, Login, Disconnection, and Status Messages.
  • Live Stream CountShows how many users are currently in the live stream.
  • Team Filter Lets you limit the feed displays to the members of a certain team only.
  • Feed Type FilterLets you refine the displayed feeds according to types.
  • Info buttonFound at the upper left corner of the video player. When hovered upon, it shows the username of the owner and the Application name of the screenshot displayed on the screen. The Tag Count and Comment Count appear beside the Info button whenever a timeline data is tagged or commented on.
Note that an Ongoing Stream does not have playback Controls. How to filter an Ongoing and Ended Stream by user  If you only want to see only a single user in the Stream, do the following: 
  • Click the Search bar and type in the name of the user in the input box.
  • Matching results will display in the results container and on the Online Users List.
  • Click the user you want to view in the search result container.  
The Stream will now only display the feeds of the selected user.  When User Search is currently used in the Stream, other filters cannot be used with it. To remove the user filter, clear the user’s name from the Search bar.   Know more about User Search. How to filter an Ongoing and Ended Stream by team 
  • On the left panel, under the "Filter data by team" button, click a team name. 
  •  If the team list is long, click the search box, and type the team name.
  • Click the team name from the filtered results.
  • To go back to the unfiltered data, click the “All” option. 
When the Team Filter is enabled, the Stream will only show data from the members of the selected team. Read our guide on know how to tag feed data from a stream. Ended Stream Ended Streams are feeds in a video player format of users who already logged out. The feeds here are not in real-time and the “streams ended” button only appears when there are users who logged out or got disconnected from the desktop app.  Parts of the Ended Stream
  • PlayerShows the Application Screenshots and the snapshots of the user/s.
  • Feed PanelDisplays the Applications and Websites, Keystrokes, User Status, Productivity Tagging, Work Time logs, Login, Disconnection, and Status Messages.
  • ControlsIncludes the play/pause button, progress bar, panel toggle, settings, and mini-player switch.
  • Date PickerHelps you view users’ data from previous dates.
  • Team Filter Lets you limit the feed displays to the members of a certain team only.
  • Feed Type FilterLets you refine the displayed feeds according to types.
  • Info buttonFound at the upper left corner of the video player. When hovered upon, it shows the username of the owner and the Application name of the screenshot displayed on the screen.   
How to use the Controls The Ended Stream has the Controls to playback, change the play speed, or switch to the mini-player.
  • Play/Pause ButtonPress this Play button to start playback of the feed video. During playback, press the Pause button to pause the video player.
  • Progress BarThe Progress bar can tell you how much of the video you've watched and how much of it is left. It can also be used to navigate to the time or hour you want to see in the stream. 
  • Panel ToggleThe Panel Toggle allows you to maximize the video player and hide the Feed Panel.
  • SettingsClicking Settings displays the playback speed slider. It controls how fast the video plays in the stream. To hide the speed control, just click the Settings button again. 
  • Mini-player SwitchWhen the mini-player is used, the video player is shrunk down to the corner of the browser. It allows you to continue watching while you browse the Cloudica™ modules. The mini-player stays on top of other module dashboards.  
How to filter an Ended Stream by date Previously Ended Streams can be accessed through the Date Picker. To do this, follow the steps below: Use the Navigation Buttons
  • Click the left arrow to go to the previous date.
  • Click the right arrow to go to the next date.
Use the Calendar
  • Click the Date Picker button to open the calendar.
  • Click the left arrow to go to the previous month or click the right arrow to go to the next month.  
  • Select a date with blue color.
Note that in the calendar, dates in blue color have data and are clickable. Dates without stored data are displayed in black and are not clickable. Once a date is selected, the Stream will display the data for that date. Filters like the Team Filter and Feed Type Filter can be used in congruence with the Date Picker. How to filter an Ended Stream by feed type Unlike the Ongoing Stream, the Ended Stream can be filtered by feed type. When a stream is filtered, the chosen feed type will only display in the stream from that point. 
  • On the left panel, under the "Filter data by feed type", scroll through the feed type.
  • Click the feed type from the list or use the search box, and type the feed type you want to view.
  • Click the feed type from the filtered results if the search function is used.
  • To go back to the unfiltered data, click the “All” option.
